Uni – Fix Epoxy Adhesive

SPECIFICATION

• Type : Two Pack Epoxy Adhesive
• Flash Point : 38 o C
• Composition : Resin – Epoxy Ester, Hardener – Polyamide.
• Mixing Ratio : Resin : Hardener – 1 : 1 ( By weight)
• Pot Life : 45 Minutes
• Shear Strength : 3000 (N/cm 2 ) @ 30°C

DRYING TIME ( at 32 oC )

• 8 – 10 Hours : Before handling roughly
• 72 Hours : Full strength is reached
• 7 Days : completely cure

SURFACE PREPARATION
All surfaces must be thoroughly cleaned prior to the application. Surfaces must be sound, clean, dry and free from anything that will interfere with the adhesion of the materials to be bonded.

APPLICATION

No thinning is required. Mix Uni Fix Resin with Uni-Fix Hardener in the ratio of resin to hardener 1:1 by weight and mix thoroughly till the mixture is homogeneous. Pot life of the mixture is 45 Minutes only. Apply the mixture with spatula, thinly on both surfaces which are to be bonded and immediately assembled the joint. The Joint parts must be kept by clamping at least around 10 hrs.

IMPORTANT
Do not apply when air or substrate temperatures are likely to fall below 5ºC or when the relative humidity is above 80% during and after application. The moisture content of the wood should be less than 10 % before using Uni – Fix.

Keep containers tightly closed after use and store away from foodstuff, Children and domestic pets. Provide adequate ventilation during and after application.
